Role Overview
As an Associate Consultant, the individual will work with APG's clients and serve as a liaison between Business Stakeholders, Designers, and the Software Engineering Team. The Associate Consultant is capable of fulfilling or supporting many different roles on a project team including project manager, scrum master, business analyst, product owner, or systems analyst.
The primary responsibilities of this role include working with stakeholders to understand their business and technical requirements, building and managing the product backlog, and successfully leading projects through their respective life-cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Root cause analysis.
Analysis for software specifications: user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, basic wireframes.
Project status reports and read-outs to clients.
Fast establishment as a SME for assigned technology projects.
Facilitate key meetings with well-planned agendas, activities, and outcomes.
Speak digital product development vernacular.
Test software as new features are built by software engineers.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree.
2 or more years of general business experience.
Familiarity with various forms of technical documentation (process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, user experience, application maps, test plans, user stories, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a wide variety of information.
Experience leading sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions.
Preferred Experience:
Past or current experience as a Product Owner, Project or Product Manager, or Business Systems Analyst.
Knowledge in software delivery: Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
